Arizona 3×5′ Outdoor Flag

Arizona was added to the Union in 1912, the 48th state to join. The flag shown here was adopted in 1917. The red and yellow, the colors of Spain, symbolize the original colonists of Arizona (Spanish conquistadors). The color of the star represents copper, Arizona’s main industry.
