3×5′ Indoor Arkansas Flag

Arkansas was added to the Union in 1836, the 25th state to join. The flag shown here was adopted in 1924. The colors commemorate both the U.S. and the Confederate States of America, and the star above the state name also represents the Confederacy. The diamond shape of the blue bars represents the fact that Arkansas is the only diamond-producing state in the Union.
